I was looking for an apartment in New York, so I used this animation as my plug. It worked, I never found myself homeless. Here is the text that went along with it...

Wanted::NYC Studio::

I'm looking for a studio/apartment in New York City. They say the best way to find something is by word of mouth. If you know of a place please let me know, and if you don't, please pass this along to someone who might know, or someone who might know someone who might know...

My school is in Manhattan, on 21st Street and 6th Avenue, so somewhere close to there would be ideal, but I'm willing to go as far away as Coney Island, only because I love Coney Island. It has that whole 1940's Americana thing going on. Closer to the school would be better and more practical though. Lastly, I'm in a wheelchair, so the already slim NYC apartment market is cut down about 90%. That is why I went to the extent of making an animation. Cheaper is better, and studio space would be the dream come true, but right now, all I need is something simple. I'm clean, my current roommate Jelani says that I am the cleanest roommate he's ever had (did you hear that Mom?) but not obsessive. I have no pets, don't smoke or do drugs, and am working towards my MFA at the School of Visual Arts. Again, if you know of a place, or know of someone who knows of a place or knows of someone who might know of someone who might know of a place, please let me know, or pass it along. I have to move out of here by May 1st. If you want to leave or make a comment, please double click on the animation window.

note: the person who helps me find a place gets invited over come first snow for a cup of hot chocolate with homemade marshmallows.
